24 march 2012 (versione italiana)
Fast trip to the Louvre Museum in Paris, to complete the commissioning of a machinery that rises the heavy cristal cover (500kg!) of a vitrine that will be parte of the new Islamic Art Pavillon.
They used the Visconti Court where they digged a big space. The new exhibition will show a lot of cristal vitrines supplied by the italian company Goppion, that since a long time supplies special furnitures and fittings to the Louvre Museum. The same company made the special vitrine that protects the Gioconda painting.
Below you can see a few pictures of the court, the special sail-shaped roof, the global vision of the exibition (work in progress!), and the special vitrine I've been working on, closed and with rised cover.
